Lonnie Lee Earns, 54, artist, died June 21, 2004, of Cancer at Canon Hospice, New Orleans, LA. He was born September 9, 1949, to George L Earns (died Feb. 7, 1981) and Dolores Earns (died Sept. 16, 2003) in Hutchinson, Kansas, and lived in Jefferson, LA. He was a graduate of Hutchinson High School, Hutchinson Community College and RV Art School. His brother Mark Earns of Hutchinson, died Aug. 2, 2019. A private service was held in Augusta, Kansas. Little John’s Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Michael Dee Egbert, 62, passed away at his home in Glendale, Arizona on July 27, 2012. He was born in Wichita, Kansas on September 24, 1949 to Buford and Gertrude Egbert. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed working on old cars. He was the proud owner and operator of Mike's Sun City Auto Care in Peoria, Arizona. He is survived by his daughters Katie Egbert and Kelly Bohart; siblings Pat Egbert, Elmo Egbert, Mary Ellen Schrock and Donna Heimerman. He is preceded in death by his wife Carol Dreitz Egbert and siblings Pete Egbert and Eddie Egbert. Services held at Heritage Funeral Chapel, Peoria, AZ 85381 August 4th.

John W. Estes, 50, died Feb. 12, 2000. He was born Nov. 23, 1949, at Falfurrias, Texas, the son of Johnnie William and Geneva Mitchell. He attended Hutchinson High. A longtime Hutchinson resident, he was a former employee of Dillons and Hambleton-LaGreca, both at Hutchinson. On Nov. 4,1972, he married Tana Ford and she died Jan. 21,1995. Survivors include a daughter Lori L. Warner, Hutchinson; mother and stepfather Geneva and Joe Heim, Hutchinson; two brothers Steve Estes, Springfield, Mo., and Rob Heim, Hutchinson; and two sisters, Mary Vierthaler, Hutchinson, and Pam Smith, Springfield, Mo. Cremation took place and no service.
