Alan Ray ‘Pete’ Maxfield, 72, of Hutchinson, passed away peacefully October 31, 2021, at Hospice House. He was born June 22, 1949, in Hutchinson, to LeRoy V. ‘Bus’ and Dorothy F. ‘Dot’ (Renner) Maxfield. Pete graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1968. He served in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1973 and was deployed to Vietnam.

Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2021, at Elliott Chapel. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park with military honors conducted by the United States Navy Honor Guard. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1-8 p.m. Sunday, with family present to receive friends from 2-4 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
