Nodee Alexander, the son of Yoshiko (Saito) and Leland O. Alexander, was born February 12, 1950 in Yokosuka, Japan. He was called to be with the Lord on at his home in Guide Rock, Nebraska on April 1, 2021 following a lengthy battle with diabetes and its debilitating effects.

Nodee arrived in the United States following his 12th birthday. His English language skills were limited so he spent many hours with his Aunt Stella Damon over that first summer learning basic English. He started American school in Hutchinson, Kansas the next fall beginning in Junior High. After his 17th birthday he asked his father to sign a consent to join the Navy.

Graveside services with military honors held Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 9:30 am at the Highland Cemetery in Jewell County, Kansas.
